Before Joining Zhonglun, Mr. Pu had practiced law in Brussels for 20 years. He obtained degrees in economics and law from University of International Business and Economics of Beijing and Free University of Brussels, certificates from China University of Politics and Law, and the European Commission of the EU. Area of practice is primarily involved with WTO law, trade remedies, investment and compliance. Up to now, Mr. Pu has represented Chinese companies in numerous cases opened by the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, south Asian and Latin American countries; represented MOFCOM in certain cases at the DSB of the WTO; represented MOFCOM to respond to anti-subsidy cases, and safeguards, court cases in EU as well as injury submissions on behalf of Chinese industrial associations. In 2008, he was awarded as by ALB as HOT 100, and recognized as an international trade lawyer in band 1 by Chambers and Partners.He published number of articles and an author of the book The EU Anti-dumping Law, published by Law Press of China in 2007.
